TRF Events

Each year TRF members enjoy a number of special events and activities hosted by local TRF groups, including those that provide unique access to areas not normally open to the public. Many of these events also raise money for local communities and charities.

Exmoor Forest Days

A series of days with unique access to different areas each with their own unique characteristics. Main loops with additional technical loops for those looking to challenge themselves. Suitable for all riding abilities including juniors (U16) who are free when accompanied by a paying adult.

Hadrians Wall Adventure Weekend

Two days of some of the finest riding that England has to offer, from the wild open sights of Hadrian’s Wall, to the grand open vastness of the borders – some of the biggest views in England. Based at a local campsite the weekend includes a not to be missed BBQ on Saturday eventing

Gerry Heyden Memorial

The Gerry Heyden Memorial Weeeknd

Enjoy the joys of the North York’s Moors and coastline over the two days. Small groups facilitate riding for all abilities. Campsite with good facilities the weekend includes breakfast both mornings and a Saturday evening meal.

Hereford Hospice

Hereford Hospice Trail

Two days of guided Trail Riding exploring the border between Wales and England.

A large proportion of the funds raised goes to support the local St Micheal’s Hospice which help vulnerable people in the local community.

Teign to Tamar

The rivers Teign and Tamar are two of the largest in Devon around which weave a very special collection of lanes throughout Dartmoor to the coast from Teignmouth to Plymouth.

Based out of a full service campsite there is something for everyone.

Training Days

Trail Riding can be a humbling experience and you soon realise that you never stop learning when it comes to skills and techniques. Sharing knowledge is not limited to riding alone – there are a number of skills that will can benefit from from navigation to simple maintenance.  Groups around the country run all manner of learning opportunities. 

The TRF also attends country fairs, local bike events as well as Motorcycle Live and the ABR festival so come and say "Hi" when you see us out and about.
